Dhan Vapasi Explained in Five Points

Have you heard of the new buzzword - Dhan Vapasi? We have decoded it for you in five points that will tell you everything about it.

What is Dhan Vapasi?
Dhan Vapasi is the return of the public wealth of India to all Indians currently under the control of the government. The governments in India control vast resources that are owned by us. This should be returned to people.

What kind of wealth?
The public wealth to be returned includes land, minerals, public sector companies, offshore resources, etc., which are currently misused and unused under government control.

Why do we need a Dhan Vapasi?
The wealth of India is owned by us. For decades it has been misused, underused, or abused by successive governments.

Millions of acres of our land are lying unused with the government. Year after year, crores of our hard-earned money is spent on loss-making companies owned by the government. The mineral wealth in the country is squandered by government monopolies or sucked out by the cronies in collusion with politicians and public officials. This colossal waste of our wealth needs to stop.

Sounds familiar…
That sounds exactly what the Britishers did to us and now our politicians are doing the same to us! This treasure has been hidden from the people by every government. As a result, even though India is rich, Indians have remained poor.

How will Dhan Vapasi affect common Indian people?
75 percent of rural households in India live on less than ₹ 5000 per month. 86 percent of formal sector jobs pay less than ₹ 15,000 per month.

Dhan Vapasi can uplift crores of Indians from poverty and help them fulfil their basic needs and allow them to achieve a better life for themselves. It will help them afford primary health care and get an education of their choice. Currently, our resources are locked up by the government and are often not used for the benefit of the people.

How much is the Dhan worth anyway?
Nayi Disha’s estimates that every Indian family has at least ₹50 lakh of wealth locked up in unused land and minerals only. This is equivalent to $20 trillion. This is the aggregate wealth of the people of India. But they do not even know it!

If this wealth were returned to the people, the rightful owners, it would eradicate poverty and put India on the path to prosperity. This is Dhan Vapasi!

The wealth owned by Indians should be returned to Indians. For decades we have been kept away from our own wealth. Now it is time to fight back for our wealth.
